Always looking for beauty and often seeing it in the smallest of things. But to be honest, here I listen to the shutter going, so I know when to pose 'naturally'. What is more colorful: the embroidery or the breakfast? After the sweltering days of this summer, where I was pushed into walls, to sit out the worst of heat, something my menopausal me was happy to do, this came forth from it. Shoreline Gleaner Shoreline Gleaner, a belt. Not that I am ever dressed like this at our home, no... at home I am usually wearing working clothes. Anything that can handle the compost heap, the outhouse and selecting food for the day, kneading sourdough, baking cooking. Yet, it looks nice. Back in the day people did wear such dresses and skirts while working at home. How dirty would their outfits be at the end of the week? Balkan Dawn is not shared with you yet, though this project has been finished for a few weeks now. The name is wholeheartedly dedicated to where it was embroidered: on our cycling trip through Bosnia and Herzegovina (which I continued alone for 2 more weeks / blogpost published).
