Active and Creative came together. The mind wanted Beauty and Usefulness. These 4 are combined in the pouches I embroider.

Studies & work

I have studied textile crafts, sewing, advertising design, decorative techniques (painting) and fashion design at an academy of art in Belgium. I worked as a food photographer before I decided to spend my life rather traveling than a secured indoor working environment from 9 to 5. Furthermore I worked as a saleswoman selling women clothes in between travels until I happened to travel fulltime.

Who is Cindy

My name is Cinderella (Cindy), born in March 1972 in the Netherlands. Years of traveling brought me many different insights, philosophies and places I needed to be. I lived in Pakistan, went over 15 times to India and when I stopped cycling the world, that was after 50.000 kilometer through 45 countries, I met Geo. Being an artist who’s chasing the simple life, I keep embroidering in the abundance nature offers me, while I am also learning to use nature in more ways than being immersed in it alone.

How CINDYneedleart started

I began beautifying fabrics while I cycled the world as I needed an outlet for my creativity. Embroidering became one of the most pleasant ways of winding down after an intense day and an excellent start contemplating the morning glory. In my opinion, the beautified piece of fabric needed to be useful, so I stitched it into pouches.

Hopes & dreams

I keep exploring, mostly by kickbike while I want to create more intricate patterns without being them too time consuming. My husband and I are learning how to be self-sustainable in the countryside of Hungary. Besides that I’d love my pouches to sell, I mostly seek a balance between being outside, growing food and creativity.
