Hi creative minds,
Realizing that my website where I sell my pouches is not aligned with Paypal any longer, I am working as quick as I can to fix this. The boring part.

On a spring tour, as summer brings me a work load in my garden, I start working on a piece early and cool morning.
In the meantime I posted a short ‘story behind the pouch’, compact write up’s with stitch stories and no, they are not boring as I embroider outside in forests or while touring. The fun part.
Presenting Summer, a pouch made of leather, from a trench coat I found in the forest.

‘Hurry burry spills the curry’ – that’s one I’m gonna remember. Another I really like is: ‘El que se apure en la Patagonia, pierde el tiempo’ (he that hurries in the Patagonia, wastes its time). I like that one even better as it’s a waste of time to try to speed things up. Same with learning how to stitch leather, but I think it really looks good!

Hi Marita, how lovely to see you here too : )
Hurry burry spoils the curry (or spills, that is almost the same ; )
You read the small letters on my post, I notice.
I red this sign in the Himalaya in India, as there are tons of sayings along the route. Drivers often drink shots of alcohol to cope with the treacherous road circumstances.
The haste in Patagonia is a good saying. I was in a super haste when I cyced through in winter, somewhere coming close to Coihaique, but on a bicycle haste is ever more senseless and indeed, I wasted my time, as it took endlessly to get out of there.
Thank you for your kind words, I like reading them X
Have a wonderful sunny day,
Cindy
