Many sort of straight stitches running alongside and over the whole of the surface. Each shell has a silver thread running alongside as well. This technique makes the shells pop up a little and gives a sense like bas-relief does.

Fabric: a cotton and hemp mixture for the upper layer and a light cotton for the inside. The wrapper is cushioned with a furniture blanket inside.
Yarn: cotton embroidery thread, machine thread and silver thread.
Care: do not dry it in direct sunlight, as sunlight always fades colors.
